RULES
The competition is open exclusively to the following four street dance styles: Locking, Popping, House, and Hip-Hop. These are the only accepted categories, each judged by specialists in the respective style to ensure authenticity and fairness.
All battles will be held in a 2vs2 format only — no solo, 1vs1, crew, or other team formats are allowed. Dancers must form teams of two and select one of the four categories when registering. Once a category is chosen, teams must stick to it for the duration of the event. Each style will be evaluated based on its specific technique, groove, character, and musicality. Teams are expected to showcase their understanding and originality within the chosen style.
Pre-selections will take place in timed rounds, with each team having 1 minute to perform. All teams must be ready to enter the floor when called, and timing will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness and consistency. Judges will evaluate teams based on their performance within this 1-minute window, so teams are encouraged to make the most of their allotted time. No additional time will be granted beyond the 1-minute limit.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals will follow a format of 1-minute rounds per dancer. In the final round, each dancer will perform 2 rounds of 1 minute. All performances are strictly timed, and dancers must be prepared to enter the floor when called.
In addition, each team is allowed only one combo per battle. This means that in a battle consisting of two rounds, teams can include only one synchronized (syncro) moment. No extra combos will be accepted beyond this limit.
The judging panel consists of 5 votes in total. To ensure a clear outcome and avoid ties, 2 of these votes are assigned to the category specialist. This specialist holds extra weight in the decision-making process due to their expertise in the specific dance category being judged. All judges are expected to vote independently based on skill, creativity, musicality, and overall performance.
